2006 National FITASC Champion

 

  2006 was an awesome year!!! We weren't sure that we could top 2005 but we did.  We are very grateful to our sponsors and our students that help make this possible.  Here are some of the statistics for you guys who like to read the numbers:

·         Set new US Open scoring record in 2003 - broke it in 2006 with 193/200.

·        All-American points race leader by 3,000 points early in the year and ending with a lead of 2,698 points  

·        Entered 17 Major competitions ( 200-1113 competitors) in 2007.  Champion or Runner-up 12 of the 17 - won or on the podium 15 of the 17 competitions (Main Event) which is a 94% average

·        Including satellite events (pre-lims, Compak , FITASC etc.) there were 45 competitions, won 28 for 63% winning avg.

·        Placed on the podium 92% of competitions.

·        Two very tough Pro Invitationals.  The 84 Lumber/Joe Hardy Invitational was filmed and televised on the Outdoor Channel.

·        Swept (won) all events at several competitions. (Exp: Champion in Main Event, Pre-Lim, FITASC and 5-Stand or Compak Events)

We were so busy teaching and going to the competitions that we didn't realize the success of the year until it was over.  We were gone from home 240 days last year.  This year looks to be just as busy and we hope for the same success.  Good luck to everyone.

    We are also very proud of the job that our students are doing.  Splitting the US Open with Curt Mauldin, David Radulovich winning Junior Nationals, Hub Johnson winning the Jr World FITASC title, Ashleigh Hafley winning Ladies National title, Ron Shafer winning a Super Vet World Cup ... and the list goes on.
